Vinit Khanna - President & CEO
Vinit founded OKS in 1985 from the living room of his West Philadelphia apartment. A lot has changed since then, but not the things that matter most. His goal then and remains today to provide companies with business process outsourcing services that are both affordable and of the highest quality. Vinit was educated at The Doon School and St. Stephen’s College in India and holds an MBA from The Wharton School. His interests include international travel, cricket, golf and squash.
He comments, “I take pride in the fact that OKS’ growth over the years has resulted in the education and improved standard of living of persons outside the Western Hemisphere, which has led these people to a broader understanding of the world. We have also established programs throughout our non-U.S. production areas specifically designed for employing women, young mothers with families to support, and educated youth. This is not something that shows up on a balance sheet, but at the end of the day it is what gives me the most satisfaction".
Partho Choudhury - Managing Partner
Partho is a managing partner with dual responsibility for setting the strategic direction of the OKS Group and daily management responsibilities for the sales, marketing, and project management activities related to OKS-Ameridial in the United States and Canada. He brings over 20 years of marketing, sales and operations expertise from his Senior Management tenures at BCE Inc, SprintPCS, CareerBuilder.com, Pfizer, Sara Lee and Proctor & Gamble.
Partho has championed the creation, development and deployment of leading household brands at start-up companies and at corporations of over $1Billion in revenue. Prior to joining the OKS Group, Mr. Choudhury started Customer Advisors International which was integrated into OKS-Ameridial in January 2005. Mr. Choudhury holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
Terence Fernandes - VP, Domestic Operations
Terence has been with OKS almost since the beginning and has a broad yet very detailed understanding of how OKS functions and the importance of client satisfaction as an essential element in the success of the company. His ability to interface with clients as well as the production staff is especially important as OKS moves into new service areas. He holds an MBA from St Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, and his interests include cricket and fast cars.
He says, "This is a time of unprecedented growth for OKS, both in traditional service areas as well as newer segments like our call centers and business process consulting. Even long-standing activities like data capture are undergoing change with the advent of new techniques such as internet data mining and smart web-bots. However, the fundamentals remain the same - providing the best possible service in goal-oriented partnerships with our clients".
John O’Kane - VP, Global Operations
John has nearly 25 years of senior management experience in data operations with Dun & Bradstreet, including Manager of European Process Review. John attended James Watt College, Greenock, Scotland and focused on business studies in Organizational Psychology and Business Information. His hobbies include soccer, golf and rugby.
John feels that OKS has entered a period of exceptional worldwide growth, creating ample opportunities to stretch his professional skills. He says, OKS is breaking new ground in all areas of business process outsourcing.
Gowri Shanker - Director, Offshore Operations
Gowri joined OKS as the Director Offshore Operations with responsibility for the global delivery of all voice and data services out of our offshore locations. Gowri is a seasoned executive with 30 years of experience in multinational companies such as AT&T, FedEx, Holiday Inns in the US. He has degrees in Engineering from IIT Madras and The University of Texas, MS degree in Electronic Commerce from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. Gowri is driving the company in using its cutting edge technological skills as a strategic tool for customer satisfaction.
In his spare time, Gowri is a keen golfer, tennis player and also an active Rotarian. Besides that, he is an active member of American Mensa, a founder Chairman of Mensa Chennai and serves on the executive committee of Mensa India.
